The Brand

Classic craftsmanship for the modern man.

KING’S was born in 1965 in Dubai, when my father, Hemchand Karani, opened a small store with one simple belief:

If you respect the customer, you never compromise on quality or service.

What began with fine writing instruments – Montblanc, Parker, Sheaffer, Cross, Waterman and more – soon became a quiet institution. People came to KING’S not just to buy a pen, but to choose something that would stay with them for years.

We engraved, repaired, refilled, and listened.

Service wasn’t a department. It was our DNA.

From fine pens to fine steps.

In time, one thing started to disturb us; classic, well-made men’s shoes were disappearing.

Fast fashion arrived. Glue replaced stitching. Plastic replaced leather.

The sound of a proper leather sole on the ground became rare.

In 2017, we decided to do something about it.

We extended our heritage of care into handcrafted men’s footwear:

  • Classic designs
  • Quality leathers
  • Slow, honest construction
  • And, most importantly, the option to custom design your own pair

Because a man’s shoes shouldn’t be chosen for him.

They should be designed by him.

What KING’S stands for today.

We are not in the “shoe business” or the “pen business”.

We are in the business of helping men:

  • Look sharper
  • Feel more confident
  • Express their taste without shouting

We stand for:

  • Craftsmanship over shortcuts
  • Slow fashion over throwaway trends
  • Personalisation over mass production
  • Service that continues after the sale

Our customers know what they want from life.

We simply give them the tools to dress like it.

Why it matters.

In a noisy world, real quality builds quiet trust.

When you wear a pair of KING’S shoes or sign with one of our pens, you carry:

  • A heritage brand rooted in Dubai since 1965
  • A product made with intention, not haste
  • A reflection of your own standards and character

This is KING’S.

Classic. Handcrafted. Modern in spirit.
Not for everyone — for the ones who demand more.
